 Join us at XIP Training Systems, in the heart of Lyndonville for Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow Classes. The word Hatha means willful or forceful and can be translated as "ha" – sun, and "tha" – moon.  This in turn references the balance between the masculine aspects (active, hot, sun) with the feminine aspects (receptive, cool, moon) within all of us.  Hatha yoga draws inspiration from a wide range of yoga styles and backgrounds.  This style of yoga joins asanas (physical postures) with pranayama (breath), creating an internal flow for the practice. These classes work on balancing strength and flexibility in our physical bodies while also drawing our attention to our breath in order to help us still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment.  Not sure what to expect from a class? Our Hatha Yoga classes are all levels classes lasting for 75 minutes.  Bring a mat or use one of ours.  Wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can easily move in. A Hatha Yoga class is both a great place to begin as well as to challenge yourself!
