

XIP Marketing Internship
The marketing intern will be an enthusiastic individual looking to join our marketing team and provide creative ideas to help us achieve our goals. The marketing intern will have administrative duties which include developing and implementing marketing strategies as well as helping with office management duties that directly relate to public relations.
As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing director in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.
This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast paced work environment.

Excellent knowledge of Social Media including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube

Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics and Facebook Ads)

Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices

Must be a certified nice person

Current enrollment in a related BS degree

Past experience with sports, training and athletics a plus
Responsibilities

Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns

Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks

Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, print material and web)

Present to staff regarding marketing trends and needs

Help distribute marketing materials

Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)

Help organize marketing events
Internship Schedule
XIP internships are scheduled according to academic semesters and summer vacation. Interns are asked to work a minimum of 10 hours per week throughout the duration of their program.
Please note 45 hrs = 1 credit
Semester 1: Sept. 1 – Dec. 23 (2 Positions) App. Deadline: 5/1
Semester 2: Jan. 3 – May 31 (2 Positions) App. Deadline: 8/1
Summer: June 1 – Aug. 30 (2 Positions) App. Deadline: 2/1
